Dolly

Dolly is a 4 year old paint mare standing 13.3 hands high. She has the moves and talent to shine in the show ring, and the quiet nature for absolutely anyone to enjoy. Talk about an unflappable horse, Dolly will stand still as a statue with bull whips being cracked, fireworks, and gunshots. She was born with a quiet mind, always being a slow and steady type. She’s ridden out with cows, gone cross country, enjoyed hunter paces, and of course has trail ridden on all over the countryside.  She’s big enough in the body for adults, and gentle for the smallest riders too! Whether you want a future partner for the show ring, or a gentle and safe horse that anyone can take out on the trails today, Dolly is your girl!  

 

In the ring, Dolly has three comfortable and steady gaits. She picks up both leads, has a nice stop, and is easy for anyone. This mare is so gentle, we trust can trust her with anyone. Going off property to school in new, spooky, places was a breeze with her. She doesn’t get worked up a bit, and treats every new place like it’s home. 

 

On the trails, Dolly is steady and relaxed. She loves trail riding and hacking out. The kids can safely take her out alone, and she’s happy to go wherever you point her. She is safe in traffic, will cross water, and is the same quiet horse on any terrain. 

 

In the barn, Dolly is sweet and kind. She loves attention! She’s polite, yet affectionate, and gets along well with her people. She lives outside in a mixed herd of mates and geldings, and is an easy keeper with no vices or maintenance.
