Pony Soprano

Pony Soprano is a 13 year old Welsh x Friesian gelding standing 13.3 hands high. He is a been there done that pony. He’s slow, quiet, and gentle.   He’s a great build and size for both adults and the kids! Pony Soprano is the one you want when your grandma, non-horsey friend, or random family member wants to go for a ride. He’s steady, reliable, and knows his one job is to keep his rider safe! To top it all off, he may just be the best driving pony we have ever seen! This guy can be driven by absolutely anyone.

Out on the farm, Pony Soprano has seen and done it all. The kids climb all over him, double, and even triple and ride out across the pasture. The girls are always out on him bareback and in a halter sorting and pushing the cows around. You can climb on him out in the pasture and hang out on him, he puts up with absolutely everything and anything. He’s used to all farm machinery, livestock, hounds, and of course crazy kids running all around him.

In the ring, Pony Soprano has three slow and smooth gaits. He picks up both leads, has good brakes, and is soft in the mouth. He rides both English and western, and is safe for absolutely anyone. He will pop over logs, coupes, ditches, and more out on the cross country course too!

On the trails, Pony Soprano is the best! He will ride alone or in a group, and will pony youngsters or kids on their ponies along with him too! He has gone on camping trips, and hunter paces. He crosses all obstacles like a gentleman. He is very used to going different places, and will stand tied to the trailer (or anywhere for that matter) like a statue. He is a no drama, easygoing guy.

In the barn, Pony Soprano is so sweet and kind. Everyone likes being around him, he is in your pocket while still being polite and respectful. The kids are always climbing all over and around him - and he stands without complaint, just happy to have the attention. He’s an easy keeper with that lives out in a mixed herd, he’s easy to catch and gets along well with his pasture mates.

Under harness, Pony Soprano really shines. A 3 year old has driven this pony around, he’s that good! He stands as long as you ask him, he goes when you ask him to go, and he is as reliable and educated as you could ever want.
