JC Protege "Tarzan"
Tarzan is a 2022 AQHA gelding standing 15 hands high. Tarzan is the kind of horse you climb on when you want to relax, unwind, and enjoy the ride. He is consistently the same quiet horse every day-- dependable, drama free, and just plain fun! Tarzan has been hauled all over and has proven himself to be smart, sensible, and sane in all sorts of environments and events. Anywhere you can go with a horse, you can go with Tarzan. He has equal experience under both English and western tack and posses the foundation and mindset to succeed in virtually any disciplines. He is a true example of what a Quarter Horse should be: versatile, intelligent, and reliable. Bring Tarzan home and gain a trustworthy partner and best friend you can enjoy for many years to come.
Tarzan is happy to pack the kids around, do a dressage test, or step into the ranch riding/ranch versatility classes. He is no stranger to the rope, has doctored many cattle outside, as well has been introduced to the head and heel box in the arena. He circles well, has a deep stop, and a nice turn around. Under English tack, he is putting together dressage tests, attended a working equitation clinic, and has been introduced to all of the fences and obstacles on the cross country course. This gelding is wise beyond his years, and is tolerant of beginners, while having the skills and buttons for even the most experienced riders to enjoy.
Outside of the arena, Tarzan has a great resume, especially for a young horse. He is a superstar on the trails and has seen all kinds of terrain. He crosses water, ditches, banks, and steep hills. He is safe in traffic, in town, and on hunter paces. He has doctored a lot of outside cattle, and handles the rope really well. Whether working alone, or with someone, Tarzan is an enjoyable mount to be aboard for the day.
In the barn, Tarzan is a gentleman that everyone enjoys having around. He is easy in the barn and gets along well in the pasture. He is used to the kids and dogs running around him, and is a good boy for all the usual barn tasks. He is easy to load up and go new places, and sends well on or tied to the trailer.
We have a recent, clean vet check on file.
