I was very cautious about trying for the third time to buy a horse that would be sound at the time of purchase. Seeing a gelding that caught my eye offered by Beau Slaughter has turned out to be a positive experience.
Beau was straight forward and honest about all information concerning my gelding. He was very concerned and careful to determine whether or not the gelding would be a safe and good match for me. He honestly told me when I asked about any other possibilities that the gelding I went to see would be the only good match for me in his string of horses at that time. Prepurchase exam was a priority for me which Beau totally understood and assured me if there were any prepurchase issues that he would not expect to complete the sale. I highly recommend anybody who is looking for a honest and caring seller with integrity (which seems to be a bit rare in the horse market) go to Beau Slaughter.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Broken S. Our filly was born in a kill pen and she was as wild as they come. Trusted no human but me but even still she was out of my league. We had a few people try to help with training and they wrote her off as a lost cause, I felt completely hopeless. Broken S, came out with the patience of a saint and took a significant amount of time loading her up in their trailer, allowing her to load up on her own (at my request) so she wouldn’t be afraid. Within hours they were able to do the impossible, they had her saddled and was riding her for the first time in her life! The professionalism and dedication they put into their horses is unmatched and it makes me so happy knowing we finally found the right team of people that is capable of making her into the horse I’ve always known she could be!
